Description
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is soliciting a contractor to provide labor, materials, supervision, tools, equipment, refrigerant, oil, and related hazardous-material handling for scheduled HVAC inspections, preventive maintenance, filter service, and corrective service at the Northwest Office Building. The equipment includes chillers, cooling towers, pumps, air handlers, Data Aire cooling units, condensers, and a chilled-water backflow preventer. Work includes seasonal startup and shutdown services, monthly and quarterly inspections, annual preventive maintenance, equipment cleaning and adjustments, refrigerant management, service reporting, and corrective repairs subject to PLCB approval. The contractor must provide qualified technicians with EPA refrigerant-handling certification, respond onsite to corrective-service calls within two hours during normal operating hours and within four hours outside those hours, and submit company and technician experience, personnel certifications, insurance evidence, customer references, a signed bid form, worker-protection certification, and proof of mandatory site visit. The contract is for one year from January 1, 2027, with four additional one-year renewal options.
