Description
Kern High School District is soliciting sealed bids for the floor coverings bid package for the Vista Continuation High School modernization project. The work requires a California C-15 Flooring and Floor Covering Contractor license. The project is a prevailing-wage public works project subject to California Department of Industrial Relations requirements, including contractor and subcontractor registration and weekly electronic certified payroll reporting. Plans, specifications, and standard proposal forms are available through the district's procurement portal. A non-mandatory job walk/pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the project job trailer, and bids will be publicly opened at the district office at the submission deadline. The solicitation states that bids must be submitted by sealed delivery and that the project is subject to applicable California labor, insurance, apprenticeship, and prevailing-wage requirements.
