Description
The City seeks a vendor to print and mail utility bills, letters, and postcards generated by its utility billing system. The work includes handling electronic data files, merging and processing documents, address verification and correction, postal sorting, inserting return envelopes and other inserts, and delivering mail to the USPS on the stated schedule. The vendor must support specified print formats and paper stocks, provide job tracking and returned processing reports and images, and purchase and manage paper and envelope supplies. Proposals must address the requested equipment, quality-control procedures, disaster recovery plan, materials and envelope capabilities, and detailed pricing. The City requests a proposed approach, timeline, references, and pricing for the listed print, processing, data, postage, and related services. A one-year contract with four one-year renewal options is contemplated.
