Jourdanton Independent School District (JISD) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for architectural services. The project is divided into two phases: Phase I involves pre-bond planning, and Phase II (optional) includes design and construction administration for bond projects, contingent upon a successful bond election. The contract will be governed by AIA Document A201-2017 General Conditions, with modifications specific to Texas law and JISD requirements. The selected architect will work with the Owner, Jourdanton ISD, located at 200 Zanderson, Jourdanton, Texas 78026. The scope includes preparing plans, specifications, and construction documents, as well as providing administration during construction. The contract includes provisions for prevailing wages, criminal history checks for workers in contact with students, and compliance with Texas Education Code and Government Code. Bonds and insurance are required as specified.
