Description
The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County is seeking a contractor to replace 21 irrigation valves at Holland Youth Sports Complex. The work includes providing and installing new 3-inch glass-filled nylon globe/angle valves with flow control and DC latching solenoids, testing the valves, installing valve boxes and compacted gravel bases, grouping nearby valves where feasible, and setting boxes flush with finished grade. The estimated project value is $50,000 to $60,000, and the required completion period is 30 calendar days after the proceed order. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, supervision, safety measures, and cleanup. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required, and bids must include the specified bid form and qualifications statement, addenda acknowledgment, Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance affidavit, applicable corporate or partnership certificate, and sealed-bid packaging. Insurance requirements include workers' compensation, commercial general liability, automobile liability, umbrella liability, additional-insured endorsements, and related certificates and notices.
