Description
The City of Idaho Falls is soliciting written bids from licensed Idaho public works contractors to replace the Idaho Falls Public Library roof at 457 West Broadway. The work includes labor, materials, equipment, supervision, site protection, removal and disposal, installation of a new mechanically fastened 60-mil white TPO roofing system and cover board over the existing substrate, flashings, drainage details, insulation repairs, and associated work shown in the contract documents. The library will remain occupied during construction, and the contractor must maintain a watertight condition at the end of each workday while protecting the building, occupants, and site. The solicitation requires a manufacturer's 20-year total system warranty, manufacturer-authorized and factory-trained applicators, a UL Class C roofing system, and compliance with the specified roofing products and installation procedures. The award will be made to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsive lump-sum base bid, subject to City approval. A performance bond and payment bond, each for at least 100% of the contract price, plus required insurance, are due before contract execution. The bid proposal must include base and unit prices, contractor identity, Idaho public works license information, signature, and addendum acknowledgment.
