Description
This procurement covers removal of two existing bridges and construction of new prestressed concrete slab bridges associated with 45th East, Sand Creek, and Willow Creek. The work includes structure excavation, concrete, metal reinforcement, prestressed slabs, elastomeric bearings, waterproofing, dewatering, utility conduit, and retaining walls. Additional work includes approach construction, excavation and backfill, granular subbase and aggregate base, hot-mix asphalt pavement, irrigation pipe and boxes, W-beam guardrail and terminals, crash cushions, erosion control, riprap, seeding and lawn construction, temporary traffic control, pavement markings, surveying, record drawings, mobilization, and removal or resetting of signs, mailboxes, and irrigation components. The bid items also include asbestos removal and disposal.
