Description
The City of Idaho Falls is seeking a consultant to develop a Safe Streets for All Safety Evaluation and Action Plan. The work includes project administration; public involvement, education, and community engagement; corridor speed-limit evaluation; analysis of intersection and non-intersection crashes and contributing patterns; safer-crossing and school-zone guidelines; multimodal corridor evaluations; electric bicycle and scooter guidance; conceptual alternatives for travel lanes, sidewalks, bicycle lanes, multi-use paths, parking, and other roadway elements; and identification of safety-enhancement projects for inclusion in the action plan. The proposal must address company and subconsultant experience, project-manager qualifications, key personnel and resources, project understanding and methodology, critical-path scheduling, quality-control procedures, and relevant professional references. The anticipated contract is a time-and-materials, not-to-exceed professional services agreement. A signed Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension, and Other Responsibility Matters is required for the prime and each subconsultant, and a signed Idaho Code Certification form is required for the prime.
