Description
CAN Health Network, on behalf of Canada Clinics, is seeking a Canadian technology company for a commercialization project involving an AI-enabled urgent-care and connected-diagnostics platform. The solution must support a unified queue-and-alert workflow in which on-site clinical staff complete patient intake and workup while an on-call physician reviews cases remotely, calls patients back, or joins by secure video or telephone. Required capabilities include dual self-service and nurse-assisted check-in, structured AI-assisted intake and acuity routing, connected examination capture, urgent physician review queues, secure audio and video, AI-assisted documentation with clinician review, laboratory and point-of-care result routing, family-physician handoff, and follow-up task tracking. The platform must interoperate with the existing TELUS CHR EMR and connected examination hardware, comply with Ontario privacy and security requirements, maintain Canadian data residency, and provide role-based access controls and audit logging. Autonomous AI diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions without clinician review, high-acuity emergency care, pharmacy operations, direct-to-consumer-only virtual care, and full EMR replacement are out of scope. Eligible companies must generally be headquartered and majority-owned in Canada, have a technology readiness level above 7, possess applicable regulatory approvals and clinical validation, and agree to a project facilitation agreement. The resulting commercialization project may last up to 12 months.
