SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase Medtronic Drug Eluting Coronary Stents and Related Products. This procurement will be made through a contract awarded by Premier, leveraging authority that allows purchases from consortiums or comparable entities without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors offering clinical equivalents to Medtronic Drug Eluting Coronary Stents and Related Products are invited to contact Honey-Beth Nelson to discuss the procurement. To be considered equivalent, vendors must provide supporting clinical documentation and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial, and must be authorized to sell the specified Medtronic products or approved equivalents under the Premier contract. This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law SSSS 139 j&k (Lobbying Law), and all communications must be directed solely to the listed contact person to avoid potential violations, which could range from no contract award to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency. The successful contractor will be required to submit valid and current NYS Workman's Compensation and Disability Forms.
