Description
SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to procure crisis management training services under its discretionary authority, with an estimated budget of up to $125,000.00. This procurement will not involve a sealed bid process. Interested vendors must contact the designated individual within fifteen business days of the advertisement notice. The scope of work includes comprehensive training in de-escalation techniques, post-crisis management strategies, and personal protective procedures. Participants will receive hands-on training in various containment methods, applying evidence-based strategies through scenario-based learning. Key components will cover de-escalation techniques, behavior management practices, and practical application through simulated scenarios. This procurement is subject to New York State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k concerning lobbying. All communication must be directed to the specified contact person to avoid potential violations, which could range from no contract award to debarment. Vendors responding must be authorized to do business in New York State and must submit required documents, including Vendor Responsibility, Lobbying Law compliance, and Tax Law Section 5-a documentation. Valid and current NYS Workers' Compensation and Disability Benefits certificates are also mandatory. The solicitation also indicates a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) goal of 6.00% and Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) goals totaling 30.00%.
