Description
The City seeks ongoing grounds maintenance and landscaping services for city-owned parcels and public improvements. Work includes mowing, edging, trimming, mulching, debris removal, weed and herbicide control, watering, pruning, irrigation-system maintenance, and landscape restoration such as soil preparation, seeding, and watering. The contractor must provide the required labor, equipment, and materials; maintain qualified personnel and equipment; and submit an equipment list with the bid. Work is paid by unit prices based on actual quantities, and the estimated quantities are provided in the bid schedule. The initial contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028, with an option to renew for an additional two-year term. Bids must include bid security: either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full bid amount or a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid. The bid package also requires a completed Bidder’s Qualifications Statement, including three similar-project references, and a list of proposed subcontractors. The qualifications statement must be notarized. Insurance certificates are required before work begins, not with the bid.
