Description
The City of Sandy Springs is soliciting a contractor for improvements at Ridgeview Park. The scope includes site preparation and demolition, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, grading, drainage, erosion and sedimentation controls, asphalt paving and pavement markings, concrete walks and site concrete, permeable pavers, chain-link fencing and gates, turf and grass restoration, and protection of existing vegetation, utilities, paving, sidewalks, curbing, buildings, and other improvements designated to remain. The work also includes installation and improvement of water distribution piping and appurtenances, sanitary sewer piping and related structures, and underground electrical service for the restroom facility, including trenching, conduit, wiring, backfill, testing, flushing, chlorination, and coordination with applicable utilities. The contractor must perform at least 51% of the work, commence within 10 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, and achieve substantial completion within 90 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work is generally limited to 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding specified holidays.
