Description
The City of Clearwater is soliciting competing proposals for a qualifying public-private partnership to redevelop the City-owned Landings Golf Course into a sports, recreation, and entertainment complex. The contemplated project may include multipurpose sports fields, a pickleball complex, miniature golf, a water amenity, sand volleyball, a food court, community walking trails, and a fitness and wellness center. The selected private entity may be responsible for developing, financing, constructing, maintaining, and owning the improvements under a long-term ground lease, although proposals may also provide for public financing and ownership. Proposals must maintain the property's public recreational use and provide detailed experience and qualifications, project approach, cost and risk sharing, implementation and management plans, preliminary schedule, project costs, lease or service-payment terms, and financing information. Required response materials include the proposal, applicable exception and additional-material submissions, certifications, a notarized Scrutinized Companies form, an Anti-Human Trafficking form, and a current W-9.
