Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a contractor to provide critical, utility, and steam water quality testing for the St. Cloud VA Health Care System. The scope includes monthly and quarterly testing of water systems and equipment in accordance with ANSI/AAMI ST108 and applicable Veterans Health Administration requirements, including pH, conductivity, alkalinity, hardness, bacteria, endotoxin, and specified chemical analyses. The contractor must provide sterile sample containers, shipping labels, transportation, courier pickup, laboratory analysis, chain-of-custody handling, sample reports by email, review and notification of out-of-compliance results within 24 hours or one working day, up to 20 retests annually, and 16 courier trips per year. The testing laboratory must maintain active accreditation through the Minnesota Department of Health Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program. The anticipated contract is firm fixed price with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods.
