Description
The City of Elk River is soliciting construction bids for J-turn improvements at TH 10/169 and 165th Avenue. Major work includes pavement marking removal and installation, full-depth pavement sawing and removal, excavation, aggregate base, bituminous wearing and non-wearing courses, a 22-inch span reinforced-concrete pipe arch culvert, storm sewer, concrete walk, curb and gutter, concrete median, tension cable guardrail removal and installation, and hydraulic reinforced fiber matrix. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates and truck-rental requirements. All work must be substantially complete by December 31, 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN, and prospective bidders must be on the QuestCDN plan holders list. A proposal bond of at least 5 percent of the total bid is required.
