Description
The City University of New York seeks a qualified firm to provide four investigators, each available for up to 35 hours per week on an as-needed basis. The team will investigate, mediate, and help resolve complaints of discrimination involving faculty, staff, and students, including matters concerning race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, and other protected categories under applicable federal, state, and local civil rights laws. The scope also includes intake meetings, interviews, investigative reports and records, written recommendations, document review and drafting, training, responding to inquiries, and monitoring compliance with university policies and applicable laws. Services must be performed remotely. The solicitation is for consulting services, not legal representation or legal services. Proposers must demonstrate substantial relevant experience and propose four qualified investigators plus a firm lead representative. The contract has an initial 12-month term and may be renewed for one additional six-month term.
