Description
The City of Carnation is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the 2026 ADA Barrier Removal Project. Work includes sidewalk and curb ramp replacement at identified locations throughout the city, tree protection and root management, concrete sidewalks and curb ramps, curb and gutter, utility adjustments, commercial hot-mix asphalt paving, temporary erosion and traffic control, restoration, and related work in accordance with the contract plans, provisions, and standard specifications. The engineer's construction estimate is $125,000 to $160,000. Bids must include a proposal deposit equal to 5% of the bid amount, payable by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on the bid proposal total. The project must comply with applicable local, state, and federal requirements, including disadvantaged business enterprise nondiscrimination provisions.
