Caddo Parish is selling its tax-title interests in 26 properties because of unpaid taxes. The properties include residential subdivision lots and other parcels identified by property numbers and assessor geographical numbers. No minimum bid is set, and each property will be sold to the highest bidder. Bidders must submit a completed and signed adjudicated property bid form in a sealed envelope, along with certified funds consisting of a cashier's check or money order payable to the Parish of Caddo for the bid amount and estimated sale expenses. The notice lists estimated costs of $405 per property, except that the original applicant only includes the bid amount. Bids may be delivered by hand, mail, commercial courier, or another permitted delivery method; electronic, fax, and telephone submissions are not accepted. A high bidder for property subject to an active demolition order must also sign an acknowledgment notice before proceeding.
