Description
Mobile County is soliciting prequalification statements from general contractors interested in bidding on a new Sportsplex Phase 3 Championship Field. The prequalification process is intended to identify responsible and competent general contractors and subcontractors. General contractors must complete the prequalification process within the stated deadlines and hold the required Alabama general contractor license. Successful prequalified general contractors will receive the final drawings and specifications and may submit sealed hard-copy bids. Attendance at the October 2, 2026, pre-bid conference is required for prequalified general contractors intending to submit a proposal; a site visit will follow. Bids must use proposal forms furnished by the architect or copies thereof, and bidders must display their current license number on the sealed envelope and proposal form.
