STATE OF ALABAMA COUNTY OF MOBILE LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Prequalification statements are solicited for General Contractors Interested in bidding on a new Mobile County Sportsplex - Phase 3 Championship Field (MCFM-2026-018) to be located near 2700 Sportsplex Drive, Mobile, AL. The prequalification procedure is intended to identify responsible and competent General Contractor bidders and subcontractors relative to the requirements of the Project. Prequalification packages and project summary information will be made available electronically Wednesday, September 2, 2026, by contacting DDG c/o Hannah Kraljevic via email at hkraljevic@ddgpc.com. The prequalification package is on file and may be seen at the office of Facilities Design and Construction, 7th Floor West, South Tower, Government Plaza, 205 Government Street, Mobile, Alabama. Prequalification packages are to be submitted no later than 2:00 pm local time on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, via electronic copy emailed hkraljevic@ddgpc.com. Notification of successful respondents will be issued no later than 5:00 pm local time on Monday, September 28, 2026, at which time final bid documents will be made available to the Qualified Bidders. Qualified Bidders may obtain final drawings and specifications electronically by contacting DDG c/o Hannah Kraljevic via email at hkraljevic@ddgpc.com. Final drawings and specifications will also be on file for review by Qualified Bidders at the office of Facilities Design and Construction, 7th Floor West, South Tower, Government Plaza, 205 Government Street, Mobile, Alabama. Additional qualifications and requirements for General Contractor Bidders and separate Subcontractors are indicated in the Bid and Contract Documents included with the final plans and specifications. Only General Contractors who have completed the prequalification process within the stated time limits and are properly licensed in accordance with criteria established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors under the Provision of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, will be considered for prequalification for the Work of this project. Attendance at the Pre-Bid conference is REQUIRED for all prequalified General Contractor Bidders intending to submit a Proposal and is highly recommended for all Subcontractors. A mandatory prebid conference will be held at 10:00 am local time on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the project site, 2700 Sportsplex Drive, Mobile, AL 36693. Bids from prequalified General Contractors not attending the Pre-Bid Conference or from General Contractors that were not notified of their successful prequalification will be rejected. A site visit immediately following the pre-bid conference will be conducted, attendance is recommended but not required. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect or copies thereof. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for Contractors must be licensed under the Provision of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, and must show such evidence of license before bidding or such bid will not be received or considered by the Architect or Owner; the bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying their current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the Proposal is delivered and on the Proposal Form.
