Description
The City of Mobile is soliciting sealed bids for as-needed termite extermination services at various City locations. The scope includes targeted inspections and written reports; localized spot treatments; liquid soil barriers; baiting systems and monitoring; wood treatments; follow-up inspections; and retreatment during a one-year service warranty. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, travel, and related expenses, use EPA-registered termiticides, and ensure applicators are properly licensed or supervised by a licensed applicator. The contract is for one year from the Notice to Proceed, with two optional one-year renewals. No minimum quantity of work is guaranteed. Pricing is requested for specified treatment services, hourly rates for additional work, and materials at direct cost plus 15 percent. The bid package requires the City-provided Bid Form, a Subcontracting and Major Supplier Plan if applicable, and other specified documents; the Bid Form requires notarization and at least three professional references.
