Description
The project involves rehabilitation of the C.C. Williams wastewater treatment plant headworks, including concrete surface, crack, formwork, and epoxy-coating repairs within the headworks channels. The contractor must furnish and install a biotrickling filter odor control system with a foundation slab, air ductwork, blowers, filter silo, and carbon polishing system. Additional work includes continuous gas monitoring and worker air-safety notification systems, a maintenance-access catwalk, repair and coating of four primary clarifier effluent boxes, cleaning and coating of four primary clarifier mechanism center columns, and supporting yard piping, paving, grading, fencing, site restoration, electrical power, controls, lighting, security, and system-integration work. The project requires furnishing all labor and materials, and prospective bidders and subcontractors must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.
