Description

The City seeks one licensed insurance carrier to provide group basic term life and AD&D, voluntary supplemental life for employees, spouses, and children, voluntary personal AD&D, and long-term disability coverage for eligible employees, retirees, and dependents. Proposals must include fully insured coverage for all plans except the specified short-term disability administrative-services-only offering. The carrier must propose plan designs and identify differences from current benefits, provide pricing for all requested options, and describe its administration, claims processing, member support, enrollment assistance, and related services. The City will evaluate qualifications and experience, plan design, administration and service, and price. The initial agreement term is three years, with two possible one-year renewals.
