Description
The City of Round Rock is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide specific individual and aggregate stop-loss insurance for its self-insured medical benefit program, which covers employees, dependents, and retirees. The coverage must include medical and prescription drug benefits for the 2027 plan year, with a proposed effective date of January 1, 2027. Respondents must provide quotes for $200,000, $250,000, and $300,000 specific deductibles; an aggregate stop-loss quote; a 24/12 contract; firm pricing or an explanation of restrictions; no-new-laser coverage with a 50% renewal-rate cap; and pricing net of commissions. The response must include a completed Stop Loss Workbook, proposal narrative, cost proposal, references, required certifications and acknowledgments, and any exceptions or proposed contract terms. The solicitation states that subcontracting is not permitted.
