Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is establishing a master agreement for as-needed event maintenance and cleaning services at the Kentucky Horse Park. The scope includes pre-event, post-event, and event-related cleaning of arenas, stadiums, barns, restrooms, exhibit halls, concourses, seating areas, and tent-city facilities; trash removal; sweeping and mopping; pressure washing; and hourly event maintenance support such as mowing, weed-eating, minor stall repairs, touch-up painting, ring watering, ring dragging, and barn-aisle sweeping. The contractor must also provide labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and supplies for stall-wall removal and replacement, rubber mat installation, removal and cleaning, tarp installation and removal, event-deck and EDU flooring installation and removal, and related material handling. Services will be requested on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed minimum quantity or expenditure. Bidders must bid all 28 commodity lines, demonstrate at least 10 years of relevant experience, provide verification documentation, and be capable of working safely around horses, equestrians, event participants, and the public. The initial contract period runs from award through November 30, 2027, with four optional two-year renewal periods.
