Description
The City of Pomona is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide professional services for aquatic swim operations. The selected contractor will manage swimming pool operations at Ganesha Park Pool and Washington Park Pool, including all aspects of pool management, staffing, and programming. The contractor will be responsible for providing lifeguards, swim instructors, and administrative personnel; collecting admission fees and swim lesson fees; and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and Red Cross standards. The City will handle facility maintenance, repairs, and janitorial services. The contract includes recreational swim, swim lessons, night swims, pool rentals, and special events. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and supplies, including uniforms, first aid kits, and two-way radios. Bilingual staff (English/Spanish) is required at each pool. The contract is for the summer season from late May to early August 2027, with potential post-season operations.
