Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a certified service-disabled veteran-owned small business to perform preventive maintenance inspection and servicing on twelve emergency generators at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center. Service Level I maintenance is required semiannually and Service Level II maintenance annually, consistent with applicable NFPA 110 requirements. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, lubricants, coolant, filters, gaskets, cleaning supplies, calibration documentation, maintenance records, and service reports. The scope also includes four-hour step-load-bank testing of each generator at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of nameplate capacity, with recorded test data and calibrated equipment. Optional services and authorized emergency repairs may include valve-train or injector work, belt and hose replacement, antifreeze changes, and other corrective work. Emergency support must be available 24 hours per day, seven days per week, with acknowledgment within one hour and qualified personnel on site within 24 hours unless otherwise authorized. The contract includes one base year and four 12-month option years, from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2031. Offers are evaluated on price, technical capability, and past performance, with at least one satisfactory reference for similar services required.
