Description
The City of Adairsville is soliciting sealed bids for the complete purchase and installation of an additional 75-horsepower backwash pump at its existing water plant. The work includes constructing a concrete pad with anchoring and doweling, installing and coordinating associated piping, fittings, valves, and a check valve, wiring the motor to the existing control panel, and providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and miscellaneous items needed for a complete operating system. The owner will coordinate SCADA integration with its existing system integrator through an allowance item. The contractor must start up and test the system and provide training for system use. Final completion is required within 210 consecutive calendar days after the notice to proceed. A 5% bid bond is required, and the successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds with the executed agreement. An E-Verify contractor affidavit must be included with the bid package.
