Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting 150 one-ton bags of virgin brown fused aluminum oxide abrasive grit, size #36, under part number FS-4120-018. No substitutions are allowed. The material must meet CID A-A-59316, Type 1 aluminum oxide, special coarse grade, 36 grit size, and must be supplied by an approved or authorized source. The solicitation requests safety data sheets and a Certificate of Conformance, with supply-chain traceability documentation available upon request. Each bag must be a 2,000-pound bulk commodity bag meeting detailed woven-polypropylene construction, strength, sling, liner, closure, palletization, marking, and moisture-barrier requirements. The quote must include pricing for the abrasive grit and shipping, the best delivery schedule, manufacturer and country-of-origin information, distributor/reseller status, and other requested commercial and pricing information. Delivery is requested by October 7, 2026.
