Description
Lassen County Behavioral Health seeks a provider to operate therapeutic foster care for youth ages 12–19 with significant emotional and behavioral needs who require intensive, structured residential treatment. The program is intended to support treatment and rehabilitation in a family setting, reduce hospital admissions, and help youth return to community functioning. The average stay is expected to be 12 months, with some stays lasting up to 18 months. The provider will recruit, approve, train, supervise, and support therapeutic foster parents; coordinate with the county, families, schools, and the Child and Family Team; monitor progress against client plans; maintain progress notes; and provide required Medi-Cal reporting. The provider must describe its agency capacity, staffing and qualifications, foster-parent recruitment and oversight, training, and approach to care. Proposals must also include a program narrative and a budget template and narrative addressing personnel, contracted services, office expenses, travel and training, and other costs.
