Description
Plumas County Public Works is soliciting bids to supply 87-octane gasoline, clear diesel fuel, and No. 2 heating oil for its maintenance facilities during the 2027 calendar year. The county expects regular “keep full” deliveries, including weekly winter deliveries, with a 100-gallon minimum per delivery. Heating oil is expected to be purchased from November through March or April and must be winterized to prevent gelling at -20°F. Diesel winterization costs must also be included in bids. Bidders must provide rack price, freight, and margin pricing for the listed products and facilities; heating oil bids must include winterization charges. The county may award each product at each facility separately. Awarded vendors must provide biweekly rack-price sheets with delivery tickets, and updated sheets when prices change more frequently.
