Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting an unrestricted, brand-name-only purchase and installation of seven Guldmann GH3+ patient ceiling lift systems for the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. The requirement includes lifts with 550- and 770-pound capacities, integrated scales, hanger bars, basic high slings, single- and double-rail continuous-charge track systems, rechargeable batteries, and compatibility with specified Guldmann sling systems. The contractor must provide design services, structural calculations, third-party structural-engineered and stamped drawings, shop drawings, delivery, onsite installation, setup, configuration, final inspection, initial certification, training, and warranty support. Installation must be performed under the supervision of a qualified manufacturer representative, with warranty response requirements of one-hour telephone response and 24-hour onsite response. The estimated value is $124,000, and award will be made to the lowest-price technically acceptable offer.
