Description
This Sources Sought notice is for market research only; it is not a request for proposals and will not result in an award. The Government seeks information from domestic sources with experience manufacturing, assembling, energetically integrating, and testing Electronic Safe and Arm Devices (ESADs) for munitions and Ignition Safety Devices (ISDs) for rocket motors. Responses should describe relevant products and delivery history, production rates, manufacturing infrastructure, qualification and testing experience, workforce skills, and the ability to scale production for anticipated defense demand. Respondents are also asked to identify component supply-chain bottlenecks, including high-voltage firing capacitors, high-voltage switches, and in-line initiators; describe planned automation, inspection, testing, and facility investments; and provide workforce scaling plans. Responses should address the ability to handle Controlled Unclassified Information, Controlled Technical Information, and classified material, as well as applicable cybersecurity compliance. Submit a capabilities statement in PDF format, no more than 15 pages including the cover sheet and visuals, using at least 12-point Calibri. Classified material and physical samples will not be accepted.
