Description
The City seeks a provider for a 20-minute community fireworks show on July 4, 2027, with a grand finale. The proposal should describe the display, including fireworks types, shell sizes, effects, and any supporting visuals, and provide pricing for 2027; vendors may also identify savings for booking multiple years. The proposed budget should include customary costs such as products, permits, delivery, choreography, music, performance, setup, and cleanup, along with a detailed fee schedule and payment, refund, cancellation, and rescheduling terms. The provider must comply with Washington fireworks laws, use a licensed pyrotechnic operator, inspect the grounds for live materials before and after the display, provide sufficient personnel for public safety, and obtain required licenses and permits. Proposals should explain the provider’s capacity, relevant experience and qualifications, assigned staff, annual show volume, and at least three comparable projects with references. A video or graphic example may be included. The selected provider must carry workers’ compensation and employer’s liability coverage as required by Washington law, $5 million per-occurrence commercial general liability coverage, and $2 million automobile liability coverage. A Washington business license and current W-9 are required before project initiation.
