Description
The City of El Paso is soliciting bids for a veterinary video endoscope for zoo-animal gastroscopy and related applications. The equipment must be compatible with the zoo's existing Storz Telepak Vet-X LED system and be a digital flexible, non-fiberoptic scope with video visualization, a minimum length of 140 cm, and a working channel for biopsy and grasping. The bid must include an insufflation, irrigation, and suction kit; two oval-jaw biopsy forceps; alligator and forked-jaw grasping forceps; a foreign-body basket; and a polypectomy snare. The bidder must provide warranty details, including at least 12 months of coverage or the manufacturer's standard warranty, whichever is longer, with diagnostics, repairs, loaner equipment, preventive maintenance, labor, parts, and transportation coverage. Pricing for up to three additional years of warranty service is also requested. The contract term is 36 months, and delivery is required within seven consecutive calendar days after a contract administrator's request, subject to the stated exception for unavailable parts.
