Description
The City of Casa Grande is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for its Sports Field Complex at Ed Hooper Park. The scope includes preconstruction services such as design collaboration, constructability and value-engineering reviews, cost estimates, guaranteed maximum price proposals, long-lead-item planning, scheduling, and subcontractor procurement planning. Construction-phase responsibilities may include constructing the improvements, coordinating utilities and agencies, procuring materials and equipment, managing subcontractors and suppliers, quality assurance and quality-control testing, permitting, site safety, and project management. The planned complex will include lighted baseball and softball fields, multipurpose sports and event fields, special-event space, and expanded community-use capacity. The qualifications-based selection requires an eight-page, single-sided Statement of Qualifications, plus required forms and attachments. The solicitation anticipates interviews for the three to five highest-scoring firms and may lead first to a preconstruction services contract and, at the City's discretion, a separate construction agreement after approval of a guaranteed maximum price.
