Description
The City of The Colony is seeking a contractor to provide recurring mowing, trimming, edging, litter removal, landscaping, and general grounds maintenance at designated medians, parkways, parks, roadways, and municipal facilities. The work includes maintaining turf and landscaped areas, removing debris, coordinating mowing schedules, performing limited planting and vegetation removal as directed, and complying with traffic-control requirements for work in roadway medians and rights-of-way. Bidders must provide per-mowing pricing, staffing and business information, similar municipal or commercial account references, certified chemical-applicator licenses, and a complete list of available machinery and equipment. The contract requires a minimum of 24 and maximum of 36 mowing cycles, with pricing evaluated on 36 cycles. Electronic submission through the PlanetBids portal is required; paper bids are not accepted. Proof of insurance and required certifications must be submitted as specified, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers’ compensation coverage.
