Description
The Navajo Area Indian Health Service intends to modify purchase order 75H71024P00883, currently held by Southwest Kidney, for on-site nephrology physician and specialty clinic services at the Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility. The modification will add two four-hour clinics per week to the existing Monday and Thursday clinic schedule, supporting outpatient nephrology care, consultations, diagnosis and treatment, telemedicine consultations, medical-record documentation, patient referrals, and coordination with the facility’s healthcare team. The proposed contractor must provide qualified nephrology physicians and manage staffing continuity, scheduling, credentialing, licensing, certifications, travel, housing, malpractice insurance, invoices, and timesheets. Physicians must have an accredited medical degree, internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship training, board certification, unrestricted medical licensure, DEA registration, CPR/BLS/ACLS certifications, required immunizations, and successful background and credentialing reviews. The notice is a sole-source notice of intent rather than a competitive solicitation; any response must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would benefit the Government.
