Description
The Bureau of Land Management is conducting a competitive online sale of 20 federal oil and gas lease parcels totaling 3,387.53 acres in Montana and North Dakota. The interest offered is leasehold interest, and the high bidder will receive the exclusive right to drill for, mine, extract, remove, and dispose of oil and gas, subject to the lease terms, applicable regulations, and parcel-specific stipulations. Bidders must register through the online bidding platform and submit the required lease application and payment. The standard lease form identifies a competitive lease primary term of ten years, a 12.5% royalty rate, annual rental rates, and bond requirements for lease operations.
