Description
The City of Billings is soliciting construction bids for replacement of digester gas systems at its Water Reclamation Facility. The work includes demolition of existing digester gas piping, valves, gas safety equipment, HVAC ducts, and air-handler units, followed by furnishing and installation of new digester gas piping, valves, digester gas equipment, controls, and safety devices. The project also includes two digester gas foam separators with associated water supply piping, drain piping, power, and controls; a new 3-ton monorail track with two manual track switches, electric and manual hoists and trolleys, structural steel supports, and an exterior support structure; and pressure and vacuum safety devices for the primary and secondary digester gasholder covers. Bids must include bid security of at least 10% of the total bid amount. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and labor-and-materials payment bonds, required insurance, and an insurance certificate. The contractor and subcontractors must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry.
