Description
HomeFront is soliciting proposals for a full-cycle website redesign and development project. The selected firm will plan, design, develop, test, deploy, and migrate content to a responsive website built on widely supported open-source technologies and an open-source content management system. The platform must allow nontechnical staff to manage content, provide secure role-based administration, remain portable to another host or vendor, and comply with WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility requirements. The scope includes internal search, a searchable document library, staff directory, forms and surveys, alerts and announcements, email subscriptions, analytics and reporting, social media and third-party integrations, multilingual or translation capabilities, backups, security updates, documentation, staff training, hosting, maintenance, and ongoing technical support. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of experience with public-sector or similarly complex websites and provide relevant qualifications, proposed services, staffing and financial-capacity information, client references, an equal employment opportunity and supplier-diversity policy, and any applicable subcontractor or joint-venture information. The estimated budget is $40,000 to $60,000. The initial website project may last up to one year, followed by three years of hosting, maintenance, and support.
