Description
The City of Dayton is soliciting bids for a firm-price agreement to supply custom liners for five-cubic-yard dumpsters on an as-needed basis. The liners will be used inside Dempsey dumpsters to dewater and transport grit, grease, and screenings removed during wastewater treatment, with final disposal at a sanitary landfill. The estimated annual usage is 600–800 liners, and prices must include shipping and inside delivery. Each formed liner must fit the specified dumpster dimensions, overlap the outside of the bin by at least two feet on all sides, and include front marking to assist installation. Liners must be made of non-woven polypropylene and meet specified minimum weight, thickness, puncture, burst, tensile, and tear-strength requirements. Equivalent products may be considered. The apparent low bidder must provide one sample at no cost before award if requested, and the bid must include product specifications, manufacturer information, warranty details, and descriptive literature.
