Description
Virginia Correctional Enterprises is purchasing 5,000 yards of red-orange polar fleece for use in clothing manufacturing. The fabric must be 100% polyester knitted polar fleece, 60 inches wide plus or minus one-half inch, weigh 6.5 ounces per square yard plus or minus 0.5 ounces, have no more than 4% shrinkage in either direction, meet the specified FR standard, and have an anti-pill finish. The required color is Pantone 17-1464TPX, with a tolerance of 1.0 or less on the Delta ECMC scale. The fabric must be first quality, supplied in continuous pieces on rolls of no more than 100 linear yards, with cores having at least a 2-inch inner diameter. Rolls must be labeled with lot, yardage, color or shade information, manufacturer and vendor details, and the VCE part number RMF551; shipments must be palletized, shrink-wrapped, and delivered FOB destination with inside delivery. The buyer may request samples before award and requires delivery within 75 calendar days after receipt of order. The bid includes a completed Bid Form and at least three current or recent similar accounts, and bids must be submitted electronically through the procurement system.
