Description
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is soliciting proposals to engineer, manufacture, deliver, and install ten durable retail merchandising units (RMUs) and accessories for Orlando International Airport. Each RMU includes a steel base with drawers, electrical outlets and distribution, cash wrap, chair, curtain boxes, roof and valance assemblies, lighting, frosted acrylic panel, and a retractable coil-fabric security system. The scope also includes two secondary fixture packages—one with slat grid and one with slatwall—plus associated pedestals, signage, materials, and approved components. The contractor must provide project scheduling, shop drawings and material boards for approval, quality control, delivery and installation planning through airport access-controlled areas, testing, training, commissioning as applicable, maintenance documentation, replacement-parts information, and a minimum one-year warranty. Installation must occur between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The response requires pricing, technical narratives, references, proof of bondability and insurability, certifications, and other questionnaire responses. The solicitation requires a performance bond or letter of credit equal to 100% of the contract value after award and specifies insurance coverage, including general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, employer’s liability, and professional liability.
