Description
The School District seeks an employee benefits consultant and broker to provide strategic planning and ongoing support for its self-funded health plan, including claims and reserve analysis, stop-loss strategy, pharmacy benefit management, compliance, vendor procurement and performance management, employee communications, benefits technology, data analytics, and wellness and population health initiatives. Deliverables include annual strategic and pharmacy reviews, benchmark reports, quarterly health-plan reporting, renewal and budget forecasts, compliance updates, and support for vendor procurement and negotiations. The consultant will also advise on alternative healthcare delivery models and provide employee and Board communications. Proposals must address the strategic consulting questions and include the specified firm profile, team, experience, service model, analytics, compliance, pharmacy and technology capabilities, compensation disclosures, references, and fee proposal. The District requires disclosure of direct and indirect compensation, including commissions and vendor-paid compensation. The contract has a one-year initial term with up to four one-year renewal periods; the stated effective date is July 1, 2027.
