Description
The City seeks a contractor to remove the existing Plant 2 Clarifier 2 mechanism and install a new adaptive inlet clarifier mechanism and sludge/scum collection system. The work includes mechanical, electrical, and controls integration to deliver a fully functional system. The project documents identify a preselected Passavant-Geiger Hydrograv Adapt System and spiral-blade scraper equipment, with the contractor responsible for associated installation and integration work, including specified flow-meter, vault, and isolation-valve work. The bid requires a bid bond of at least 5% of the total bid price. The contractor must perform at least 30% of the total contract cost with its own organization and submit a subcontractor list. Required bid-time submissions include the designated IFB pages, bid form, qualifications and reference information, compliance and conflict-of-interest certifications, applicable substitution request, addenda acknowledgments if applicable, bid bond, and the signed and notarized Work Authorization Affidavit with the E-Verify signature page. The bid form specifies 450 calendar days to substantial completion after Notice to Proceed and 45 calendar days to final completion after substantial completion.
