Description
The City seeks an annual contract for liquid aluminum sulfate used as a coagulant to remove phosphorus at its wastewater treatment plant. Estimated annual usage is 300 dry tons. The product must meet specified chemical composition and physical appearance requirements, including the applicable AWWA B403-16 standard; aluminum-reclamation-derived precursor material is permitted subject to verification. The contractor must provide a product-compliance affidavit and Safety Data Sheets with each shipment. Deliveries are ordered as needed, with desired routine delivery within 48 hours and emergency delivery within 24 hours after an order. The supplier must accommodate changing delivery schedules and volumes, use suitable rubber-lined tank trucks equipped for unloading, and provide delivery tickets with each load. Bidders must submit unit and extended pricing and the identified bid forms, pricing, references and experience, compliance affidavit, conflict-of-interest certification, and applicable addenda. The contract is for one year, with three additional one-year renewal options.
