Description
The School District of Springfield R-12 seeks a full-service, NAESCO-accredited energy services company to support project planning, development, design, and implementation, and to provide a long-term guarantee of savings. The solicitation requests a guaranteed maximum price for the overall project covering four school locations, as well as individual prices for each location. The scope includes work at Weaver Elementary School, David Harrison Elementary School, McBride Elementary School, and Cherokee Middle School. The package includes project manuals, drawings and as-built plans, roof warranty information, and school floor plans. A bid guaranty of 5% of the bid amount is required; the selected contractor must provide payment and performance bonds, each for 100% of the contract sum. The solicitation also specifies prevailing-wage and construction safety requirements, a minimum one-year craftsmanship warranty, and insurance requirements applicable to the project.
