Description
The City of West Des Moines seeks a qualified audio/visual integration firm to provide a complete turnkey replacement of its City Council Chambers system. The scope includes system design, new current-production equipment, software and licensing, removal of existing equipment, installation, cabling, programming, configuration, integration, testing, commissioning, documentation, training, warranty coverage, preventive maintenance, and ongoing technical support. The replacement system must support public, hybrid, and remote meetings; Microsoft Teams Room functionality; three remotely controlled 4K PTZ cameras; Digital Congress electronic voting; council, staff, podium, and overhead displays; wired and wireless microphones; ceiling speakers and digital audio processing; recording and backup recording; OBS and YouTube livestreaming; closed captioning; media audio and video feeds; assistive listening and hearing-loop connectivity; control interfaces; network and cybersecurity requirements; remote support; system recovery; and future expansion. Proposals must address qualifications, at least three comparable completed projects and references, project personnel, technical design, implementation and cutover, testing, training, warranty and support, cybersecurity, licensing, exceptions, and five-year total cost of ownership.
